I have partnered with The Headstrong Project (THP) for over seven years. Our mission is triumph over trauma, healing the invisible wounds of war. With the support of Headstrong, trauma therapy can be covered at no cost for up to 30 sessions.

The Headstrong Project is a non-profit mental health organization providing confidential, barrier-free, and stigma-free PTSD treatment to veterans, service members, and family connected to their care. Their goal is to help patients “Triumph Over Trauma.” by providing them with effective mental health treatment. As a trauma-informed clinical partner with Headstrong, we provide individualized, evidence-based outpatient care to their clients.
How do I access Headstrong funded support?
- Use link below and click on the Connect To Care.
- On their webform, select Virginia for your state.
- Complete the requested information.
- In the “Message” box, be sure to also include that you would like to have services provided by MaryAyce Torpy.
- Submit the form and Headstrong Representative will contact you to explain the program, benefits, and eligibility. Once you complete the intake assessment (~30 min telehealth screening), Headstrong will notify MaryAlyce Torpy and we can schedule sessions.
- Keep an eye on your spam for the Headstrong response. This process is fast moving, you will have an appointment within two weeks!
